Join us for a free slice or two of pizza, and find out more about becoming a UPSU Peer 2 Peer Trainer.

UPSU’s Peer to Peer Trainers are students from a range of year groups, courses and backgrounds, who bring their own experiences to provide skills based training sessions for their fellow students covering topics like leadership, teamwork, fundraising, project management, social media and more. No experience of having provided some training is necessary!

The value of becoming a UPSU Peer 2 Peer Trainer is huge. You will have:

  • The chance to receive training and acquire skills/techniques in effective training provision, as well as nurture some of your key abilities such as communication and organisation.
  • The chance to broaden your C.V. and request references for future employment/further study. You will also have the opportunity to have this role highlighted on your HEAR.
  • The opportunity to become part of a team of student trainers, meet new people and have some fun.
  • The chance to shape the focus of Skills Training within UPSU.

More information can be found here. Get your questions answered, and find out more about the scheme from current Peer 2 Peer Trainers on Monday 12th March. We'll be having Pizza from 6pm in babbage 403, giving you a chance to ask questions etc., before going though the scheme at 6:30pm, with some interactivie activities to demonstrate the sort of training we provide. We look forward to seeing you there!
