A short talk on the applications of metal detecting within the field of archaeology with a focus on conflict archaeology.

Guest speaker Max Dampier is a professional archaeologist and metal detectorist with a background in conflict archaeology. The talk will cover the general applications of metal detecting within the field of archaeology with a spotlight on the sub-field of conflict archaeology.
