Welcome to the Creative Writing Society! On your first official night of term, we are celebrating the start of a new university year with a relaxed online session. We'll be getting to know each other and preparing to spend a great year together.

Welcome to the Creative Writing Society! Whether you have recently joined our society, or are still considering a membership with us, all are invited. It's your first night of a new, and perhaps your first, semester, so we will be celebrating in true Creative Writing Society style - with a casual, no-stress online session.

Please feel free to participate in whatever way you feel most comfortable. Our committee will be introducing themselves and what they'll be getting up to, and you're all invited to share a bit about yourselves too. This is a perfect time to tell us what you want to get out of our society this year - our foremost aim is to give you the best experience possible, tailored to what you are most interested in pursuing through your creative writing. We can't wait to see you there!

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials, for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
