A chance to find out more about volunteering with Oxfam in Plymouth.

Be part of something bigger than yourself. Give back to your local community. Make a difference to someone's life. Overcome your fears, boost your confidence, gain new skills and enhance your career by volunteering.

UPSU Volunteering have teamed up with our charity partner Oxfam for a virtual Q & A session which offers you the the chance to find out more about volunteering with Oxfam in Plymouth.

You can find out more about joining their friendly team, the roles on offer and you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions.

Volunteering with Oxfam is a great way to gain work experience and make new friends. Volunteering for Oxfam not only directly supports the work of Oxfam world-wide, it also helps promote sustainable fashion and a culture of reusing and recycling.

On the run up to Christmas, in addition to their shop floor roles, they will be looking to grow their online sales team which involves photographing fashion, pricing and listing for our Oxfam online shop. Plus! if you are a volunteer with a local Oxfam shop, it allows you to apply to volunteer at Oxfam Festival shops…. which could means a free pass to Glastonbury, Boomtown and Boardmasters!

Join on your own - you’ll make friends here, or with a chum if you fancy volunteering together

Oxfam offer Covid-safe volunteer opportunities and have strict Covid-safety procedures in place.
