Students for Global Health are celebrating International Women's Day on campus with a panel event
Students for Global Health are celebrating International Women's Day with a panel discussion on global access to healthcare for women. In Kirkby Lodge Sustainability Hub, 4th March, 18:00-19:30, join us to hear an insightful discussion from 4 women who have all worked internationally in areas where access to healthcare for women is difficult.
For example, we are delighted to welcome Elpitha Bruce, a GP Trainee who has worked in rural South Africa and Malawi, seeing first hand the effects of gender inequality including high birth rates, high unemployment and rates of sexual violence.
