Students for Global Health are celebrating International Women's Day with a panel discussion on global access to healthcare for women. In Kirkby Lodge Sustainability Hub, 4th March, 18:00-19:30, join us to hear an insightful discussion from 4 women who have all worked internationally in areas where access to healthcare for women is difficult.
For example, we are delighted to welcome Elpitha Bruce, a GP Trainee who has worked in rural South Africa and Malawi, seeing first hand the effects of gender inequality including high birth rates, high unemployment and rates of sexual violence.
The event is free and refreshments are provided. Check out the Facebook event for the latest information and panellists: https://www.facebook.com/events/1454209431408108/
