Your SU are hosting a Holocaust Memorial Room, organised by the University of Plymouth Jewish Society (J-soc). This room will be open to all students wishing to respectfully learn about the Holocaust or those who want a safe space to reflect. There will be several exhibitions about the Holocaust (provided by Yad Vashem), as well as a 'candle corner' for reflection.

Holocaust Memorial Day on 27th January is to commemorate and remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions of people killed under Nazi Persecution.

Holocaust Memorial Day 2020 marks 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

The theme for 2020 is Stand Together. With increasing division in communities around the world this theme highlights the importance of standing together and speaking out against oppression in order to stop division and the spread of hatred in our society.
