Hello, I'm Amber, I study Geography and Ocean Science, and I'm running for representative for The School. I would like to take on the role, because I believe effective communication is the best way to progress and succeed in any initiative.
I love my degree and the School, and have previously conveyed my passion for the school; such as appearing in the 2017 applicant video talking about the Geography course and general student life. I have also taken up many of the opportunities offered by the school- including the many guest lectures and Royal Geographical Society ambassador training, all of which are brilliant offerings which I feel more students should take advantage of.
I believe more students should be a part of the great opportunities the school provides, and that the school could potentially offer more opportunities- especially in a student's individual journey with the optional and additional modules available to choose. I care about the relationship between the students and the faculty, and would love to be a part of the ongoing endeavours to provide utmost student satisfaction and achievement.
