Whether you are a total beginner, ride for fun, compete at all levels or just want to make a fantastic network of friends then the University Riding and Polo Club has something to offer for you; girls and boys alike!
We are dedicated to providing all students with the opportunity to go horse riding, and whether you are a highly skilled and competitive rider focused on improving your current skills and interested in representing the University at a range of different levels, or simply wish to try out something new and exhilarating, then this is the place to come. Even better, you don’t even have to worry about owning your own horse!
We currently train at 4 different yards, 3 of which are within a 20 minute drive from the University, and the final yard which is located a little further out in Somerset, and is where we play Polo ( which by the way if you have never tried before we strongly recommend that you do.... most of our teams had never played before they came to uni so dont be put off if you are in the same boat!)
