► Our Charities

Our Local Charities
The Eddystone Trust
The Eddystone Trust is a local independent agency, providing free and confidential information and support for anyone concerned about HIV or Hepatitis C (HCV) in Plymouth, Torbay, and south and west Devon. They also provide sexual health information and resources to students in Plymouth, helping at the drop in clinic at the Perverell Park surgery in the university.
Last year Plymouth RAG society raised enough money to DOUBLE the Eddystone trusts budget for the year. (which was only a measly £1500 to start with).
This meant that EVERY ONE of the clinics patients received a mini fridge to hold their medicines in.
I hope that this year we can build on this as it a very worthwhile cause, and now we know how much of a difference we as students can make.
They target HIV Prevention.
They Provide Hepatitis C information and offer support to individuals affected by Hepatitis C.
They Offer HIV Support and information and support to people affected by HIV.
They Provide Sexual health training and information services.
