In the grounds of Plymouth University campus The Summer Ball is the largest student event in the South West. On Saturday 24th May 2014, thousands of party goers will get together on campus for this unique one night only festival featuring huge music arenas, top live acts, DJs, funfair and so much more.

Q: Who can buy a UPSU Summer Ball ticket?
A: Any student at Plymouth University, you must be over 18 and ID must be produced at the Ball entrance

Q: Can I bring non student guests to the Summer Ball?
A: Yes each student ticket holder is entitled to purchase a ticket for a none student guest. They must be over 18, ID must be produced at the Ball entrance

Q: I’ve graduated can I come?
A: Sorry at the moment the event is just for current students of Plymouth University

Q: Where can I buy a Summer Ball ticket?
A: Tickets are on sale from the SU bar from Sunday 27th April at 6pm and online at www.upsu.com from Monday 28th 12pm

Q: How much are tickets?
A: Early bird tickets are £37.50 there are only 1000 of these available (800 from the SU Bar and 200 online)
Regular tickets are £42.50
VIP tickets are £50.00 NOW SOLD OUT.

Q: How many tickets can I buy?
A: Each Plymouth University student can purchase 2 tickets maximum. 1 for them and one for a guest.

Q: Is there a dress code at the Ball?
A: Yes. Formal dress only, black tie, lounge suit, cocktail dresses, ball gowns. Strictly no jeans, no trainers, no t-shirts.

Q: I have lost my ticket can I get a replacement?
A: Sorry we can’t offer replacement tickets. Do not lose your ticket it will not be replaced. If you lose your ticket you will not be able to enter the Ball.

Q: If I bought a ticket online when can I pick up the actual ticket?
A: You can collect your ticket from the SU nightclub entrance between 12pm and 4pm from Monday 19th May to Thursday 22nd May and 12pm to 7pm on Friday 23rd May. Please bring a print out of your summer ball ticket receipt and bring your student ID with you.

Q: Can my online tickets be sent to me by post?
A: Sorry no. You can collect your ticket from the SU nightclub entrance between 12pm and 4pm from Monday 19th May to Thursday 22nd May and 12pm to 7pm on Friday 23rd May. Please bring a print out of your summer ball ticket receipt and bring your student ID with you.

Q: Can someone else collect my online ticket order.
A: Yes. They must bring a print out of the ticket order receipt and you must email before hand to info@upsu.com letting us know you give them permission to collect your ticket.

Q: Can I purchase a VIP ticket?
A: You can only purchase a VIP ticket if you are a final year student. You will have received an email to your University account that you need to print out and bring with you to the SU to purchase a VIP ticket. If you havent received an email please email hello@upsu.com.

Q: Is there food served at the ball?
A: Yes. There is an array of stands serving food at the ball.

Q: Is there cash machines at the ball?
A: There is only a small amount of machines at the ball, please make sure you bring enough cash with you on the night.

Q: Can I leave the ball and re-enter once I have entered?
A: No. Only under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the door team will you be allowed to leave the ball and re-enter.

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials, for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
