The role & responsibility of a Course Representative?
The University of Plymouth provides many different types of courses, and the role of the Course Rep may change from course to course, depending on the tutors involved and what they expect from their rep. Generally the role might be expected to undertake the following responsibilities:
| * | Liaise between the students and the staff, at various levels of authority |

Gather student views and opinions on the quality of their learning experiences and identify perceived strengths and weaknesses to enable the university to develop the programmes of study appropriately |

Attend all Course related meetings and present fairly, the views of the students that they represent |

Attend training sessions organized by the students’ Union and all meetings for Course Reps |
|
* |
Represent the case of individual students to the University, or refer them to the Students’ Union who will take over responsibility there |
