The Summer Ball
CyberMentor and FutureYou Mentor training was held earlier in the year through UPSU. Sadly no more training sessions will be held this academic year but if you would like to find out more about each scheme, and sign-up your interest, then please follow the links below:

Senior CyberMentors - Aged 18-25 |
FutureYou Mentor |

Designed by young people for young people, the emphasis as always is on peer-to-peer support and assistance and not adults or authority figures policing the net, although strict child safety mechanisms are embedded in the process to ensure that inappropriate, bullying or predatory behaviour is safely reported. For more information, along with how to register interest, visit their website |
All LifeMentors will receive a short informal telephone interview before being accepted for training. Full training is provided in mentoring skills and experience of mentoring is not a prerequisite for the role. For more information, along with how to register your interest, visit their website |
If you have any questions then please feel free to e-mail us on volunteer@su.plymouth.ac.uk or pop into the volunteer office in the Hive where we will be happy to have a chat!
