UPSU Training helps you gain informal learning and practical skills during your time here at University. There is a selection of training courses available to equip you to undertake your chosen volunteering activity confidently and safely.
Most of our training courses are free to Volunteers, Course Reps, Members of Parliament, etc; but we do ask for a small contribution (about £10) towards the cost of expensive training such as First Aid, which is fantastic value as the certificate you get is valid for 3 years!
These are some of the courses that are available to you:
Child Protection Training |
Working with Vulnerable Adults Training |
Environmental Project Training |
First Aid Training |
Safe Tool Handling (for you environmentalists) |
