The University of Plymouth Students’ Union is a democratic organisation led by students for students.

Each year the members (you) vote in union elections to choose your leaders for the year.

Elected Officers (Sabbatical Officers) have the key responsibility to represent your views to the University and they play an important role in ensuring the quality of your teaching, learning and educational experience you get from the Plymouth University.

They also seek to improve the quality, level and range of services your Students’ Union provides. The quality of our Student Officers and the level of service they provide is in your hands. One day you might need to rely on their support.

The Sabbatical Officers hold a full time role at the students’ union. There are 5 Officers in total, and despite having different remits they are all willing to talk to you about any issues regarding University life that you may wish to raise. If they can’t help you personally, they’ll certainly know where to go for help.
