UPSU Award Criteria
The UPSU AWARD - CRITERIA
The components of the award are set out below, you will see that there are two sections the compulsory elements and the optional section.
You will need to complete ALL Four compulsory elements and choose two from the other options;
COMPULSORY ELEMENTS
ü 30 Hours on any Volunteering Activity
ü WORKSHOP 1 Planning your CV
ü WORKSHOP 2 Preparing for Interview
ü WORKSHOP 3 The Interview Experience
and you can choose any two elements from the following list;
Ø First Aid Training
Ø Child Protection Training
Ø Parliament Training
Ø Course Rep Training
Ø NUS training
Ø Adult Protective Behaviours Training
Ø Environmental Project Training
Ø Specific Environmental Training (e.g. tree planting &Maintenance)
Ø School Tutor Training
Ø British Sign Language
Ø Coaching in the Community
Ø Holding a Committee Position
Ø Employer Business Games (e.g.Flux)
Ø Skills Development
On completion of all six elements you will qualify for the UPSU AWARD, and certificates will be handed out at the UPSU AWARDS CEREMONY.
